Located in the northeast of Germany, Dresden is a not only brimming with vibrant culture, gorgeous architecture and economic and political strength, but is also home to all types of meetings and conferences, particularly in the science, research and technology industries.
This May 14-18th, the GCB Americas team will be headed to Dresden with a small set of planners, giving them an in-depth look into what Dresden offers them, the meeting hosts and delegates.
The group will tour the Volkswagen “Transparent Factory” where the luxury Phaeton is assembled, visit the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics, and get to know stunning event venues like castles, palaces and museums. A night walk to the top of the famous “Frauenkirche” (Church of our Lady) will be a unique experience, and traditional German food and music will also be enjoyed. At the conclusion of the tour everyone will continue on to IMEX in Frankfurt May 19-21 to attend the show as a hosted buyer.
